JUDAICA - Shbbath

This miniature is intended for anyone with any connection to Judaism, and is suitable for the broad public in Israel and abroad as a handmade souvenir by an Israeli artist. 

The miniature was designed as a room containing a table prepared for a Kiddush on the eve of the Sabbath, with four beautifully designed chairs. Over the table there is a white tablecloth ornamented in gold, silver candlesticks with white candles, halla bread covered by a white napkin with the golden inscription "Sabbath Shalom", a bottle of wine with a silver Kiddush goblet, a book of hymns for Sabbath and a small vase with flowers.

On the miniature's left side there is a cupboard, its bottom part closed by two doors, and the top part containing holy books and Judaica items.

On the central wall there is a large window through which the view of Jerusalem can be seen, and by the window's sides there are the Home Blessing and artists' paintings.

The walls are covered with cream colored wall paper, whereas the floor has the appearance of light brown wooden parquet with a Persian carpet. Furniture is dark brown.

The miniature is 10.5 x 7.0 inches (4.0 inches in depth) framed in glass with a brown wooden frame and signed by the artist.
